Scaly Mountain Snow
Tubing is a fun, friendly, family-oriented park offering snow tubing
only. Thousands of families come to visit us each year to enjoy snow
tubing at Scaly Mountain. Every year we look forward to seeing the many
familiar faces of the friends we have made, along with the anticipation
of new friends we have yet to meet.
We are conveniently located halfway between Highlands, NC and Dillard,
GA, and only 112 miles north of Atlanta, GA. Our physical address is,
7420 Dillard Road, Scaly Mountain, NC. We are the southern most point
for snow tubing in the southeastern United States. Our large parking
area is located on NC Hwy 106 (Dillard Road. This is also known as GA
Hwy 276). This allows for easy access to the slope and facilities.
Tickets for snow tubing are purchased downstairs in our lodge.
The upstairs of the lodge is leased to a new restaurant, Tastebuds. They
offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For more details on Tastebuds,
please call them at 828-526-1011. Please contact them for large parties
(birthdays, etc.). They will be open during our operating hours. (Please
see hours of operation.)
Our rates are $20.70
per person, per 2-hour session. At this time, we do not offer presales
on tickets. We operate on a first come, first serve basis, and only
accept reservations for groups of 20 or more. If you are interested in
making a reservation for a group of 20 or more, please contact us for
availability, reservation forms, and waiver forms required for snow
tubing.
We do have a 42” height requirement for our large slope. Should you have
children that do not meet this requirement, we do have a “kiddie” slope
that they will be able to slide down and have lots of fun. We make sure
that children of all ages are able to enjoy snow tubing!
